The moment to ask
Salons have a moment most businesses do not: the client is seated, waiting, often for twenty minutes or more, with a phone already in their hand. The end of the service, while they look at the result in the mirror, is when they are happiest with you.
Asking at that moment is fine. What matters is that every client is asked the same way — not only the ones who smiled.
Where the cards go
- Mirror stations. A counter card propped at each station, where the client can see it from the chair.
- Payment counter. One counter card by the card machine, for clients who were not seated long.
- Stylist badges. A staff badge per stylist, so you can see which station the scans come from.

What the customer sees
The draft describes the visit — the staff, the wait, whether it was clean — and never promises a look or a result. The client changes it to say what they actually thought.

- No. Google does not allow anything in return for a review, including a discount on the next visit.
- Will every client's review say the same thing?
- No. Drafts vary from visit to visit on purpose, and each client edits theirs. Near-identical text is what Google's spam filters look for.
- I have two branches. What then?
