How it works

Every customer sees
the same screen.

There is no happy path and no unhappy path. Nobody is asked how the visit went, so nobody can be sorted by the answer. That is not a feature we are holding back — it is the design.

One line, start to finish.

  1. A customer scans the card

On their own phone, in their own browser. Nothing is installed and nothing is asked of them.

    A6 counter card

Printed once. It does not need power, wifi or a person.

  2. The page opens

It knows your business name and which code was scanned. It asks nothing about the person holding the phone.

    Their phone, their browser

No app, no sign-in, no name, no number, no email.

  3. They say what happened

A few words in any language, or a mix of two. Topic prompts if they are stuck — never a rating, never a question about how it went.

    What they typed

khana acha tha, staff ne dhyan diya

    • + Food
    • + Service
    • + Wait
  4. It gets written up

Two to four sentences from their words only. The writer is told never to add praise they did not give or soften a complaint (it only drops swear words), and they can change every word before posting.

    Their reviewevery word editable

Had a meal at Copper Kitchen and the food was good. The staff also paid attention to us.

  5. They post it on Google

Copy, Google opens, they paste and post. We never touch the review again.

    Posted from their own account

We never post, edit or delete. After the copy, we are out of it.

Why there is no rating question

The shortcut, the policy, and your rating.

The shortcut

Ask first, then split the room

A common trick is to ask how it went, send the happy ones to Google and the unhappy ones to a private form. It can lift a rating, and it is against Google’s policy.

The policy

Google names it

A business must not “discourage or prohibit negative reviews, or selectively solicit positive reviews from customers.” Google says it removes content that breaks this policy.

Your rating

It is not yours if it is filtered

A rating produced by hiding part of your customers is a number about your funnel, not about your business. It also breaks the moment the filter is removed.

With review gating

I waited 40 minutes for a table at Copper Kitchen and nobody told me anything about it. The food was okay.

Routed to a private form. Never reaches Google.

With AskRevu

I waited 40 minutes for a table at Copper Kitchen and nobody told me anything about it. The food was okay.

Posted, exactly as written.

The whole claim

What it can do, and what it cannot.

If any of this stops being true, it is a bug and we will say so. It is not a feature we are holding back for a higher plan.
